National Supporters

Adopt America Network is committed to improving the lives of adoptable children throughout the United States who are in the foster care system by placing them with permanent, loving families. AAN uses a national network of public agencies, private agencies, and volunteer adoption specialists.

The Association of Jewish Family and Children's Agencies is the membership organization of over 140 Jewish Family and Children?s Agencies and specialized human service Agencies throughout the United States and Canada.

The focus of the Child Welfare League of America is children and youth who may have experienced abuse, neglect, family disruption, or a range of other factors that jeopardize their safety, permanence, or well-being. CWLA also focuses on the families, caregivers, and the communities that care for and support these children.

The Conference of Chief Justices provides an opportunity for the highest judicial officers of the states to meet and discuss matters of importance in improving the administration of justice, rules and methods of procedure, and the organization and operation of state courts and judicial systems, and to make recommendations and bring about improvements on such matters.

The Council of State Governments was founded during the Great Depression and for more than 75 years, CSG has worked hard to provide state leaders with what they need to succeed in difficult times.

The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute provides leadership that improves adoption laws, policies and practices - through sound research, education and advocacy - in order to better the lives of everyone touched by adoption.

As one of the oldest and largest child welfare organizations, Joint Council on International Children's Services is the lead voice on intercountry children's services. With a mission to advocate on behalf of children in need of permanent, safe and loving families, Joint Council promotes ethical child welfare practices, strengthens professional standards and educates adoptive families, social service professionals and government representatives throughout the world.

The National Association of Public Child Welfare Administrators is committed to ensuring that children in the public child welfare system have safe, permanent homes by supporting and enhancing the system's ability to successfully implement effective programs, practices, and policies.

The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy seeks to improve the law, policies, and practices associated with child protection and adoption systems.

The mission of National Center for State Courts is to improve the administration of justice through leadership and service to state courts, and courts around the world.

The National Conference of State Legislatures is a bipartisan organization that serves the legislators and staffs of the nation's 50 states, its commonwealths and territories to provide research, technical assistance and opportunities for policymakers to exchange ideas on the most pressing state issues.

Founded by a group of judges dedicated to improving the effectiveness of the nation's juvenile courts, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges has pursued a mission to improve courts and systems practice and raise awareness of the core issues that touch the lives of many of our nation's children and families.

The National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association, together with its state and local members, supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.

The National Foster Parent Association strives to support foster parents, and remains a consistently strong voice on behalf of all children.

The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices develops innovative solutions to today's most pressing public policy challenges and is the only research and development firm that directly serves the nation's governors.

Founded in 1974 by adoptive parents, the North American Council on Adoptable Children is committed to meeting the needs of waiting children and the families who adopt them.

Voice for Adoption develops and advocates for improved adoption policies. Recognized as a national leader in special needs adoption, VFA works closely with federal and state legislators, as well as other child welfare organizations.

Additional Supporters

The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is a private, nonprofit society with a legacy of strengthening families and preventing child abuse through essential child welfare and mental health treatment and effective public advocacy.

The Washington State UJIMA Community Services creatively identifies, prepares, and supports families for African American children (primarily those who are in foster care).
